This car was found displayed on its own personal lift in an elderly gentleman's personal collection in Florida...when not on its way to Daytona Beach, it never even touched the floor! With the patina of a preserved, not restored example, this original Jag is flawless in its lustrous green paint, chrome, and biscuit leather interior. With 47,500 original miles and one documented respray it's been driven 3K miles in 20 yrs. 1969 Jaguar E-Type 4.2. Original 4.2 Liter Hanes XK6 engine with dual Zenith Stromberg carburetors producing 246 horsepower. This engine was designed using highly skilled engineering originally intended for aircrafts and has maintained a consistent track record of reliability from 1949 to 1992. This smooth running 6 cylinder is mated to a 4-speed full synchromesh gearbox and durable Salisbury hypoid rear end that featured a Powr-Lok limited-slip differential. The series 2 E-Types were manufactured from 1968 to 1971 and are considered to be the best and most reliable drivers of the E-Type line.
