Hera Domestic Shorthair Young Female for sale in Denver, Colorado

My story
Pretty young short-haired tortoiseshell femaleHera was the goddess of family and childbirth and she was pregnant when we rescued her from the streets, so her name fits.  Her kittens were adopted a while back and she's still waiting for an adopter who is experienced with fairly shy cats who'll give her the safety, patience and help with her social skills she needs.  Hera is a one and 1/2 year old FIV+ short-haired tortoiseshell spayed female.  Hera is FIV+, which is the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. It is only contagious to other kitties through deep bite wounds. It means her immune system is just slightly lower than normal kitties, but most cats with FIV live long, healthy lives if they are in a safe, indoor only, calm environment (which is what she needs in any case). They have been adopted with other non-FIV+ cats as long as both are non aggressive. Please discuss with a veterinarian who is well educated and up to date on the latest info about FIV to help you decide.  She gets along well with her roommate, Baby, but they are not adopted and are not required to be adopted together.  She'd love her own home to relax, soak in the sun and come out of her shell.
