Fender Strat Standard American 1992.

Black body, rosewood neck, all original. Looks stunning and plays wonderfully.

I bought this guitar new in 1992 at Manny's Music in New York City and it's been very lightly played, never gigged and mostly idle comfortably in my non-smoking house all these years.

The guitar is close to perfect. How close? There are a couple of really little, extremely superficial scuff marks (not scratches) on the body. They're nothing I can capture in a picture and unless you're analyzing the instrument extremely closely you 'd never ever see them. That's it: the instrument otherwise looks as new. The tremolo works as do all the electronic devices. The guitar has been skillfully set up with Elixir Nanoweb 9's.

And the noise? It's exactly why you're reading this ad: 100 % classic Fender Stratocaster.

A word about the initial Fender case. One of the 3 fasteners that keeps the case closed recently fell off. Likewise, in a misdirected attempt to make the case close correctly with the tremolo bar attached I cut out a little piece of the interior's lining, because fixed. The case looks and works great and shields the instrument firmly. It's simply not as pristine as the guitar.

In short: a practically perfect, completely established 1992 Fender Strat with great Strat tones, prepared to go.

The price for this instrument is $639, including the tremolo bar, all-important tremolo spring, two additional sets of strings and a new hardcover copy of "The Fender Stratocaster Handbook, 2nd Edition" ($18.55 on Amazon).

This will certainly be a cash money just sale. I'm not thinking about trades. Silly lowball offers will certainly be cheerfully disregarded.
