Hap's story
Another sad story, but with a bright future ahead. Hap was spotted wandering a southeast Wyoming town for several weeks, and it took a little while for him to trust someone enough to be caught. He then landed in the shelter where it was discovered he was covered in fleas and had a broken hind leg, and had for some time. WBCR stepped in to help. Despite all efforts, the leg could not be saved
there was too much nerve damage. On the advice of two specialists, Hap had the leg amputated and is now the second tripod currently at WBCR. He is recuperating and getting his feet back under him in foster care, and is starting to show us his sweet nature.
Currently fostered near Denver, CO
