Alan's story
Hi there! My name is Alan. I am a black and white domestic short-hair born in 2009 with gorgeous green eyes. I've overheard some people saying that I am funny looking because my nose is a little crooked but that doesn't bother me. I think it make me unique and beautiful!
My past is a bit of a mystery, I was brought to Maxfund in June 2018. Since then, the people here have discovered that I have a food allergy. It's really no big deal; I simply need to be on a special diet. My special diet means I have to be kept in a cage since I can't eat the food left out for the free roaming cats.
Don't let this cage fool you, I am an extremely friendly man; just watch my head pop a up and listen for my little squeaks when you enter the room. Please come say hello, I love to have my ears and the bridge of my nose rubbed. Nibbling on fingers is how I show my appreciation for a scratching job well done. I also love it when I am given out of cage time. I will spend the first ten minutes walking around the perimeter of the room scavenging for food but the people here are really good about putting it out of my reach before letting me out. After an unsuccessful hunt, I will either find some place on which to perch so I can survey the room from a new angle or curl up in one of the comfy beds and relax.
I am a sweet cat with a lot of personality that is looking for my forever family with whom I can blossom. I do just fine with other cats but I am unsure about dogs. I would love a home where I could have enough room to stretch my legs, a warm, sunny window to sit in and watch the action of the outside world and a nice couch on which to cuddle with my new human.
