My story
Quincy was rescued from a hoarding situation. She was very untrusting of everyone and also pregnant. She had her puppies a month after being rescued. When her foster mother started helping her take care of her pups, she started trusting her mom. Now she is like a shadow. Follows her everywhere. She loves to sit by you and especially loves to be rocked in a rocking chair while having her belly rubbed. She is potty trained and also uses a doggy door. She gets along with other dogs, but does bark at them if they get too close. She is learning how to ride in a car. Still has a ways to go. It will take her a while to warm up to you and seems to favor women, but will eventually warm up to a man. She likes to chase cats. Not too sure of kids.Fostering and transporting to places where there is a need for adoptable animals, saves lives, its that simple. In October we are starting a Foster to Adopt Program, we think it is a win win for adopters and increase our adoptions and of course save lives. Call Marie at
